Andie Van Hoosear

Hi, my name is Andie Van Hoosear and I am a trainer at Fitness 101. I have been working in the fitness industry for 4 years. I first started out in the fitness industry in Operational Management, and I quickly discovered that gig was not for me! I wanted to stay in the fitness world, so I decided to get certified and become a Personal Trainer; and to this day it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I received my ACE, NCSF, and NESTA certifications and ran full force into the personal training scene. After much hustle, lots of sweat, countless phone calls, consultations, body fat tests, and bootcamps, I had built a great personal fitness business. After a few years of doing this in the corporate world, I decided to come to Fit 101 where it is more about family, the members, community and personal growth. I love to specialize in olympic lifting, sports and conditioning, and CrossFit type workouts.

As for myself, I have been into fitness as long as I can remember. I remember as a kid, watching my Dad who was in the Navy, working out at home and wanting to do the same thing. I played numerous sports growing up, and played soccer and ran sprints in Track & Field in high school. I got my first gym membership at 15 and loved it from the beginning. Breaking a sweat, pushing yourself, creating workouts, have always been things I loved. Movement is so important, and I love to be able to show people how they can move the best for them and to how to have fun while doing it! A year ago I started doing Crossfit and Olympic Lifting and have loved incorporating that into my fitness repertoire and teaching people the movements as well.

When I’m not working out, I’m working on my real estate business. I love working with people and real estate is a lot like personal training where you just need to know how to establish and keep real, genuine relationships with people. I love training, and I love helping people find or sell their homes. Come say hi and talk to me about either one today!

Priscilla Zaragoza

Hi everyBODY! My name is Priscilla Zaragoza, and I'm in the business of changing lives! I am a certified personal trainer and Fitness 101 in La Mesa. To me fitness is not a temporary solution, it's a lifestyle. The love of fitness started for me at the age of 14, I ran cross country/track and field for 4 years. By my senior year I was top 10 runners out of 80+ teammates. It really sparked an interest and a love for sport and staying active. It wasn't until after high school that I began to gain some weight (human nature), I was a preschool teacher for 4 years, and struggled with my weight and own insecurities. I finally had to draw the line, and thats how I ended up in a gym! I worked at LA Fitness/24 hour fitness, in the kids club. But I've always been an opportunist and wanted more. So I became certified and started training at a corporate gym!

Fitness is a passion that I try to pass onto all of my clients. I have very diverse clientele, and I've worked will all ages and fitness levels! From navy, to pregnancy/post pregnancy. Some of my hobbies include crossfit, Olympic lifting, paddle boarding, biking and hanging out with my adorable pup!
